Many of the medicines we use today come directly or indirectly from medicinal herbs used traditionally. The Jardin de Plantes Ressources (Garden of Useful Plants) offers a great many examples, such as rosemary, which has antiseptic, anti-oxidant and purifying properties. Textile plants such as linen, ramie and sisal can also be found in this garden. While strolling around, you may also notice so-called “tinctorial” plants from which pigments are extracted to make dyes.
This is true of woad, which was once used to produce indigo in the Haut-Languedoc. The leaves were ground then shaped into balls known as coucagno in Occitan, said to have given their name to the region, the Pays de Cocagne.
This garden also reveals the diversity of field crops (wheat, barley, triticale, etc.); plants used by the perfume industry (rose, iris, jasmine, etc.), in cosmetics (St John’s wort, saponaria, purple coneflower, etc.); aromatic and condimentary plants (horseradish, saffron, lovage, etc.); vegetable crops (lentils, peanuts, quinoa, etc.); plants with traditional uses; and other plants with cleansing properties or those used to help look after other plants in the garden.

Proof of Enrollment or Participation: Documentation proving your role as an apprentice manatee caretaker, such as an official confirmation email or letter from the museum's education department
Visitor Pass (if applicable):: If the apprenticeship involves access to restricted or behind-the-scenes areas, you may need an additional visitor pass
Health and Safety Compliance: In some cases, museums with live animals may require a health clearance or signed consent form for participation, particularly in a hands-on role like manatee caretaking

Activity Ticket with Shared Transfer:
Non-Refundable Booking: Bookings that include activity tickets along with shared transfers are non-refundable once confirmed. Full payment is required at the time of booking, and no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
Activity Ticket with Private Transfer:
Non-Refundable Activity Ticket: The activity ticket component is non-refundable once booked.
Cancellable Private Transfer:
Cancellation Notice Required: If you need to cancel the private transfer, you must do so at least 48 hours before the scheduled activity.
Refund Details: Cancellations made within this timeframe are eligible for a full refund of the private transfer charges, after the deduction of applicable taxes, service charges, and payment gateway fees.
No Changes Allowed: Bookings are final and cannot be modified. This includes changes to the date, time, or number of participants.
No-Shows: Failure to attend the activity at the scheduled time and location will result in the forfeiture of the booking without any refund or credit.
Service Provider and BMB Cancellations: If an activity or transfer (whether it’s a private or shared transfer booked as part of a bundled service) is cancelled by the service provider or BookMyBooking.com, or due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather conditions, safety concerns or any avoidable things), we will offer an alternative date or activity of equal value. If no suitable alternative is available, a credit voucher may be issued at the discretion of BookMyBooking.com.
Policy Acceptance: By booking an activity or transfer through BookMyBooking.com, customers acknowledge and agree to this cancellation policy. This policy is clearly stated during the booking process and must be accepted to complete any reservations.
