For the Eid Al Adha holidays, Dubai motorists will enjoy four days of free public parking, except at multi-level parking terminals, from Saturday, June 15, until Tuesday, June 18. Tariffs will resume on June 19, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Thursday.
During the holidays, the transport authority also announced revised operating hours for the Dubai Metro and Dubai Tram. Red and Green Lines will run on Friday (June 14) and Saturday from 5 am until 1 am (the next day). On Sunday (June 16), they will operate from 8 am to 1 am (next day). From Monday to Friday (June 17-21), the service will run from 5 am to 1 am the next day.
Dubai Tram will operate on Saturday from 6 am until 1 am, from 9 am to 1 am on Sunday, and from 6 am to 1 am from Monday to Saturday (June 17-21).
All RTA Customer Happiness Centres will be closed during the holidays, except the kiosks or smart customer centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Barsha, and Al Kifaf. The RTA head office will remain operational 24/7.
All service provider centres will remain closed during the Eid Al Adha holidays, but technical testing services will resume on June 18, and public halls will open on June 19 (Wednesday).
Bus Schedule and Marine Transport
Bus route E100 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station will not operate on June 14 to 18. During this period, riders are advised to take bus route E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station in Dubai to Abu Dhabi.
Bus Route E102 from Al Jafiliya Bus Station will also not operate from June 14 to 18, and passengers can use the same line from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Mussafah Community.
The government has advised commuters to check the S'hail App. Operating hours for marine transport, including water taxi, Dubai Ferry, and abra, can also be found on the RTA app.
The Dubai government announced that Eid Al Adha public and private sector holidays will start from Saturday until Tuesday, with official work resuming on Wednesday, June 19.
