The Cannes Lions 2024 final awards ceremony was a night of celebrations for the Asia-Pacific region, which emerged victorious with several prestigious awards, including the first-ever Grand Prix for Singapore.
Ogilvy Singapore claimed the Grand Prix in the Glass: The Lion for Change category for their impactful campaign for Vaseline Pro Derma Transition Body Lotion, the first product designed for transgender women.
Developed in collaboration with Thailand's transgender community, the lotion addresses skin challenges experienced during and after transitioning, with ingredients that combat the side effects of hormone therapy.
Jury President Cindy Gallop praised the campaign for its holistic approach to gender equality and social change, calling it an easy unanimous decision to award Vaseline the Glass Grand Prix. David Dahan of Ogilvy Singapore expressed immense pride in bringing Singapore's first Grand Prix home.
In addition to their Grand Prix win, Ogilvy Singapore was named "Agency of the Year — Good."

- Leo Burnett India: Two Silver Lions for Lays' "Project Farm Equal" and Harpic Locator's "#BeFreeToPee."
- Maria Ressa: Cannes LionHeart Award for her fearless journalism and advocacy for freedom of expression. In her address, she urged advertisers to protect the sanctity and value of news.
- Choojai and Friends: Gold for the "Sammakorn, not Sanpakorn" campaign.
- Leo Burnett Bangkok: Gold for Krungsri First Choice Credit Card's "What the Fast!" campaign.
- The Monkeys Sydney (part of Accenture Song): Grand Prix for their "Play it Safe" campaign for the Sydney Opera House, shared with Marcel Paris' film for Orange on women's football. Jury President Tom Myhren praised The Monkeys' campaign as the best film of the year, celebrating the creative spirit and bravery in the face of critics and cultural norms.
- Revolver (Australia): One of five Palme d'Or special awards.
Asian talent shone brightly in the Young Lions category, with India, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and China all winning medals. The competition allows young professionals to showcase their creativity and skills, developing innovative solutions to real-world briefs within a limited timeframe.
