Saudi Tourism Authority Boosts Malaysia's Tourism Growth With Innovative Visa Strategies

The Saudi Tourism Authority, also known as STA, is all set to host its biggest trade networking event in Malaysia, NUSUK, on August 27th at the Mandarin oriental.

This event will unite over 40 leading Saudi stakeholders and 500 travel agencies from Malaysia and Southeast Asia. With His Excellency Dr Tawfiq bin Fawzan AIRabiah, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Hajj and Umrah, the event provides STA with a distinctive opportunity to connect with Destination Management companies, hotels, transportation providers, and essential travel partners. The motive is to understand their needs better and refine offers, products, and packages to enhance the spiritual journeys of Malaysian Umrah travellers and promote other Saudi destinations. Andalusia's exclusive Travel experience with WeXpress Andalusia in association with WeExpress will elevate travel experiences for Malaysian tourists. Starting in December, Andalusia will introduce a special travel package featuring WeXpress ambassador Alif Satar, complete with exclusive itineraries, travel tips, and filming permissions, all supported by STA. Mitra Kembara and Grab Facilitate Umrah for Drivers Mitra Kembara and Grab are joining forces to make it easier for Malaysian Grab drivers to perform Umrah. This initiative will offer specialised packages to over 300,000 eligible Grab drivers funded and supported by SAUDIA for airline tickets. STA will assist by advising on itineraries, supporting logistical needs, and providing unique access to critical locations, ensuring a smooth and enriching journey. Launch of Saudi Aroya Crusie Saudi Arabia is set to launch Aroya Crusie, its first halal cruise line, with an inaugural milestone in Saudi's efforts to establish a world-class cruise industry. Saudi Arabia is enhancing travel accessibility for Malaysian visitors by providing a complementary 96-hour Stopper Visa and Evisa, valid for up to 90 days.
